Alas! Selfishness aside, it does make me sad over the thought of early fan works lost forever, especially in this age of digital preservation.
Though there is the donating-to-a-digital-library option that you referenced in your previous response. Time for me to check them out! Here’s an assortment of links collected by the OTW:
